Oluleye Esomojumi is an accomplished banking executive with over 20 years of experience across international trade finance, banking operations, and correspondent banking within Nigeria’s financial sector. He currently leads the transactional operations and global correspondent banking relationships of the bank, strengthening cross-border partnerships, expanding trade capacity, and supporting business growth. He also drives strategic initiatives focused on operational efficiency, regulatory engagement, and technology implementations.
Oluleye’s career spans across several roles in leading financial institutions such as Guaranty Trust Bank, Access Bank, FCMB, and Coronation Merchant Bank where he held leadership positions like Head of Trade Services and Deputy Head of Operations, building a strong track record of performance and leadership.
Known for operational excellence, he has successfully led high-performing teams and process automation initiatives in different organisations. He contributes to industry advancement and actively represents the bank at Association of Heads of International Trade of Banks in Nigeria (AHITBIN) to drive digital transformation, regulatory engagement, deepen access to trade finance.
He holds a B.Sc. in Demography and Social Statistics from Obafemi Awolowo University, an MBA from the University of East London, and has attended several top training courses and seminars both locally and internationally.
