In line with the Central Bank of Nigeria guidelines on the Management of Dormant Accounts and Unclaimed Funds issued on 19 July 2024, eligible balances are those in qualifying accounts that have remained dormant for ten years or more.
Quest Merchant Bank publishes its applicable account list to promote transparency and help account owners, beneficial owners, and their representatives identify and reclaim balances to which they are entitled.
Eligibility threshold

A qualifying account balance may become eligible when no customer-initiated transaction has taken place for the prescribed period.

Reclaim process
Follow these steps after locating an account on the published list.
Download the list on this page and check for an account belonging to you, a family member, or an organisation you represent. Eligible balances transferred to the CBN may also appear on the CBN website or in newspaper publications.
Contact our Client Services team or visit our office to complete the required Account Reactivation Form and receive guidance on the applicable reclaim process.
Submit evidence of account ownership, a valid means of identification, proof of your current place of residence, and an affidavit confirming the information provided.
